Lectures, exams, degree theses: the new University measures implemented by Law Decree no. 52 dated 22 April 2021

As of 4 May, Università Cattolica has implemented new measures that will enable progression towards the gradual resumption of in-class teaching activities, in full compliance with all safety requirements.
The opening of campuses with access-controlled card entry points is, therefore, confirmed together with the provision of services for students, both in presence and remotely (in compliance with the pre-established reservation procedures), lessons held in dual mode (in class and online) and the continuation of research activities on the basis of pre-defined criteria.
Both oral and written exams can be held in person, or by means of the pre-established remote methods, based on each individual Faculty programme, in full compliance with safety measures and in coordination with the Campus Administration Directorates concerned. This is an important new option, which is now added to the procedures already put in place for the discussion of degree theses; each Faculty will keep all its students fully up to date with the appropriate information.
These, and any other updates, will be made available on the iCatt portal and the iCatt app, as well as shared via the @icatt email.
It should be remembered that the responsibility and collaboration of the entire university community, in respecting the rules defined for combating the spread of infections, is essential in order to safely guarantee the use of the University services.
