Organisational model and Code of Ethics

Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore constantly reaffirms its fundamental principles and values also by means of rules to guarantee the effectiveness and correctness of the behaviour of the entire structure. In this context, as of 1 November 2011, the Ethical Code and the Organisation, Management and Control Model were established.

Moulded on the values that weave the Statute of the University, the Code of Ethics collects the rules of conduct that constitute a point of reference to direct the behaviour of each member of the University, so as to offer articulated, motivated and ethically responsible answers to the questions and problems originated by the fluidity of the current relational, social and professional networks.

Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore has also chosen to conform its administrative action, both internal and external, to the most modern organisational standards, inspired by the provisions of Legislative Decree 231/2001. To this end, the University has its own Organisation, Management and Control Model (of which the Code of Ethics is an integral part), and a special Supervisory Board (SB). In this way, it is intended to reduce to a minimum, and hopefully to zero, the risk of behaviours that deviate from those rules of formal and substantive correctness, which must be the patrimony of the personal and collective action of all those who work at the University.

In this regard, it should be noted that the Supervisory Board is responsible, among other things, for collecting information on actual or attempted violations of the Code of Ethics, the Model, the Statute and the University Regulations. These circumstances must be reported to the Supervisory Board according to the procedures indicated in the section "Reports to the Supervisory Board".
