Overview
The undergraduate degree programme in Environmental and Workplace Prevention Techniques enables students to become health professionals capable of carrying out all prevention, verification and control activities concerning environmental, work and food hygiene and safety, as well as public and veterinary health. The basic teaching of biological and environmental phenomena, anatomy, physiology and pathology of humans and other major life forms is complemented by more specific disciplines qualifying for the profession, as well as internship activities that, already in the first year, allow direct experience in working contexts and to measure themselves against increasingly complex situations in the organisation of food and workplace risk prevention..
