Qualification for the healthcare profession of nurse
Working as a nurse requires technical, relational and educational skills. For this reason, the undergraduate Nursing programme is based on knowledge from different and complementary fields: in addition to the biomedical and preventive hygiene disciplines, which provide an insight into the most important elements of general physiological and pathological processes, this degree programme also includes the humanities, which help to understand oneself, one’s profession and the relationship with the person being cared for. The course is largely focused on learning the profession in its entirety; there are many internship experiences during which it is possible to experience, under supervision, a gradual assumption of autonomy and responsibility. Once you have obtained your undergraduate degree in Nursing, you can continue your education with a graduate degree in Nursing and Midwifery.
