The programme in a nutshell

The expertise of the problem solver within a company

A solid business education enriched by the development of legal and economic competences: these are the essential conditions to be able to administer and manage a company. Following a common two-year period, students will have to choose a specific profile from Management, Finance, Marketing, ICT Management and Service Management (focused on the tertiary and commercial services sector and organised in collaboration with Scuola Superiore del Commercio del Turismo dei Servizi e delle Professioni). For those who have to combine study and work, there is the possibility of attending the programme in the afternoon/evening.

Teaching methodology

In addition to traditional lectures, the programme includes practical sessions, analysis of current issues, seminars and meetings with entrepreneurs and representatives of institutions, and internships in companies.

The training acquired enables graduates to work in every functional area of a company: administration, planning of marketing and sales strategies, accounting management, market and investment analysis, corporate communication.

Presentation

Studying Economics and Management in Milan means aiming to acquire knowledge to invest in the areas of business administration and management. Business disciplines such as Business Administration, Economics and Business Management, Economics of Credit Firms, Corporate Finance and Business Organisation are therefore at the heart of this undergraduate programme and its various profiles designed according to a cross-functional logic. This solid business education is complemented by the development of rigorous economic (political economy and applied economics) and legal (private law, public law, commercial law, tax law and labour law) skills. The course aims at training a professional figure able to: analyse functions, processes - or parts of them - concerning the company areas of major importance and criticality, marketing and company communication both internally and externally; solve, through the acquisition of a problem-solving mentality, crossfunctional problems between the different areas of the company; administer and manage companies, both in general and in particular sectors; effectively use two foreign languages, including English (compulsory) and one to be chosen among French, German and Spanish; face and solve information management problems through the use of IT and telematics tools.
