The earthquake that devastated vast areas of Turkey and Syria is causing incredible suffering to their populations, with consequences that are proving more and more serious with every passing day.
Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore expresses its deep closeness and solidarity with the Turkish and Syrian students attending our programmes, a solidarity that is extended to their families residing in the areas hit by the earthquake and to the entire population of the nations involved.

For this reason, the University has decided, on the one hand, to make the relief measures provided by the Gemelli Fund for the payment of school fees available to Turkish and Syrian students and, on the other hand, to promote throughout the academic community the fundraising campaign set up by Caritas Italiana for the populations struck by the earthquake.
