This programme has a strong work orientation. Graduates of this programme will be able to perform - depending on their specialisation, but also with a broad interchange of competences - qualified functions with different degrees of responsibility in the fields of:

  • specialised and editorial translation as an autonomous entrepreneurial activity or employed by companies, organisations, international institutions, EU institutions, publishing houses and in any sector where qualified translation skills are required;
  • foreign language teaching in schools and in any other area requiring language training, as well as in the field of communication;
  • management and international relations of Italian, foreign and multinational companies operating abroad, and/or international organisations and institutions;
  • development of tourism and the management of local and global tourism enterprises and activities.

In addition, the graduate programme is a prerequisite for continuing studies in Specialisation courses, University specialising Masters and Doctoral programmes.

Curriculum Literature and Communication

The professional outlets include: teaching of foreign languages in schools and in any sector that requires language training; self-employed, entrepreneurial or employed professional activities in publishing houses, in the communication and advertising sector, in other organisations and companies, particularly the cultural ones.

Curriculum Languages for Specialist and Editorial Translation

The job opportunities include: self-employed or employed professional activities in companies, enterprises, international organisations, but also in the public sector, in publishing houses, EU and cultural institutions and in any other sector where specialist translation skills are required, as well as foreign language teaching.

Curriculum Management and International Economic Relations

The professional outlets foresee that the graduate will be able to enter effectively as an employee, consultant, entrepreneur and manager in the field of general management, marketing, communication and sales functions of the following realities: small and medium-sized local companies exporting to Europe and worldwide; large multinational and global companies; internationalised companies; foreign companies operating in Italy; web companies with international customers; consulting companies; import/export offices of companies; institutions and bodies operating in the field of international economic relations; other entrepreneurial activities.

Curriculum Management, Entrepreneurship and Communication for Global Tourism

The professional outlets envisage that graduates will be able to work effectively as practitioners, consultants, manager or entrepreneurs in the following settings: large and small accommodation enterprises (hotels, hotel chains, campsites, B&Bs, etc.); tour operators; transport enterprises (airlines, shipping companies, cruise ships, railways, etc.); entertainment enterprises (music, shows, amusement parks, etc.); cultural enterprises, both profit and non-profit (theatres, museums, etc.); tourism service enterprises; tourism communication enterprises; web enterprises; development of one’s own enterprise in tourism.
