COURSE STRUCTURE
The degree programme is divided into two curricula: Applied Foreign Languages and Languages, Literatures and Communication.
Each curriculum contains:

  • two three-year language courses;
  • a cycle of two/three language science examinations;
  • an organic cycle of six/nine specific examinations for each curriculum, meeting the requirements of linguistic/professional service widespread in society and intended to constitute a specific professionalism.

The Faculty offers the possibility of participating in professional internships, organised in agreement with public and private bodies.

Credits
In order to obtain the undergraduate degree, 180 credits (ECTS) are required: normally about 60 credit per year are acquired by means of assessment tests for both courses and supplementary teaching activities. Each course is given a certain number of credits (ECTS), the same for all students, and a grade (expressed
in a mark out of 30) which varies according to the level of preparation. The final examination mark is expressed in a mark out of one hundred and ten.

The languages offered in the degree programme are: French, English, Russian, Spanish, German, Arabic (only for the Languages for Business profile (the number of places reserved for this language is 80), Chinese (only for the Languages for Business profile) (the number of places reserved for this language is 80).
