Banking and finance

The Curricular Internship with ECTS is provided for in the didactic system of the courses of the School of Banking, Finance and Insurance Sciences.

It consists of a fully-fledged teaching activity, although it is a period that the student spends in the company in close contact with professionals. It must therefore be approved as such by the Faculty Supervisor before it begins.

The Curricular Internship does not in any way constitute work but is an integral part of the training course.

• Minimum duration of three months full time. In the case of an Internship carried out abroad, it is possible to approve courses of a shorter duration in specific cases (see Regulations, available in the Blackboard course information section linked to the Curricular Internship and in the Faculty Guide)
• Not a compulsory activity
• No. of ECTS allocated to internships:
  • 10 for Financial Markets and Institutions–Undergraduate programme and Statistical, Actuarial and Economic Sciences
  • 8 for Financial Markets and Institutions–Graduate programme and Banking and Finance
  • 5 for Statistics and Actuarial Sciences - Actuarial sciences for insurance profile
• Procedure for awarding ECTS: at the end of the internship, the final report must be submitted to the university supervisor at least three weeks before the graduation session. In the Documents section of the Blackboard course associated with the Internship there are guidelines for writing and the cover page to be adopted
